How do I make a donation?
Any individual, corporation, foundation or other organization may make a gift payable to the Palisades Medical Center Foundation. Gifts may be made in person at the Foundation office, by telephone or by mail. Join the MomentumDear Friends of Palisades,

When meeting individuals who have chosen healthcare as their profession, we are immediately impressed with their dedication, commitment and ability to put the needs of others before their own. They provide care and improve the quality of life of everyone they serve. Your donation of time and/or financial resources to your local hospital is a wonderful way to support your community. Not only do your family members, friends and neighbors benefit, but you can feel good that your contributions are helping to improve the whole region.
The Palisades Medical Center Foundation was established to raise the necessary funds to support the programmatic and capital needs of the Medical Center and the Harborage. New services, facilities, medical technologies and information technology are only possible through your generous donations. Addressing immediate needs and building for the future, the Foundation is establishing its first-ever endowment. This will allow philanthropic investments from a variety of sources to be combined into a pool large enough to ensure ongoing financial support. Raising and managing funds with the highest level of responsibility and integrity, donors can be assured that their gift will reap immediate and long-term benefits for their families and neighbors. While the healthcare industry continues to face challenges, philanthropy and generosity are values that never go out of style.

Questions and Answers
Is my gift to the Palisades Medical Center Foundation tax deductible? Palisades Medical Center Foundation is a registered 501(c)3 organization with the IRS. Your deduction is tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law. We suggest that you contact your personal financial or tax advisor. Where will my gift be used? Gifts to the Foundation are used to benefit and meet the mission of the Medical Center. The Foundation is establishing an endowment fund to ensure ongoing financial support. Additionally, there are many equipment and programmatic needs.
A list of these is available upon request. Will my name be made public? The Foundation will periodically publish the names of donors in the Foundation newsletter and on the website. If you wish to remain anonymous, please indicate this on the donation/pledge form.
Will you accept gifts over a period of time? Yes. The Foundation recognizes that in many cases, the ability to spread the payments of a gift out over a period of time allows for donors to increase their overall commitment to the Foundation.
Can I recognize a person through a memorial or honor gift? Yes. Ask for �Naming Opportunities� for suggestions about tribute gifts. If there is another area not on the list to which you wish to direct your gift, please let us know. What is planned giving and do you have a planned giving program?
Many people refer to planned giving as a gift of marketable securities such as stocks or bonds. Planned giving includes financial vehicles that benefit the donors in many ways, including income production, tax benefits now and for your estate, as well as income for other family members after you are gone. Palisades Medical Center Foundation offers quarterly seminars on how planned giving may benefit you now and your heirs later. Ask for our "Ways of Giving" document that includes a brief description of some of the vehicles available.

This planned giving society allows donors to support Palisades Medical Center well beyond their lifetime through wills, charitable trusts and gift annuities. Endowment Society
The Endowment was created to ensure the sustainability of Palisades Medical Center. Those who make a commitment to the endowment of $250,000 may choose to name a specific endowment fund. Annual Fund
